Rapid recognition of di-n-butyl phthalate in food samples with a near infrared fluorescence imprinted sensor based on zeolite imidazolate framework-67

Shan Chen et al.

Summary: A novel fluorescence imprinted sensor based on CdTe quantum dots and zeolite imidazolate framework-67 was developed for rapid and sensitive determination of DBP in foodstuff. The sensor exhibited faster response speed and lower detection limit compared to previous methods, with successful application in real sample detection.

Efficient preparation of dual-emission ratiometric fluorescence sensor system based on aptamer-composite and detection of bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate in pork

Yueying Wang et al.

Summary: A ratiometric fluorescence sensor system was proposed for detecting DEHP in pork, using aptamer recognition with MoS2 QDs and CdTe QDs. The system utilizes two signals to transmit response and self-calibration, achieving linear detection of DEHP concentration and successful determination in practical applications.

Probing the contamination characteristics, mobility, and risk assessments of typical plastic additive-phthalate esters from a typical coastal aquaculture area, China

Ze-Ming Zhang et al.

Summary: The study investigated the contamination characteristics, equilibrium partitioning, and risk assessment of phthalate esters (PAEs) in the Xiangshan Bay area. The results showed that PAEs were mainly influenced by mariculture activities, river inputs, and anthropogenic activities in the inner bay and bay mouth. PAEs were found to accumulate in benthic feeding fishes with high trophic levels, and there were differences in the transfer tendency of PAEs between sediment and seawater. Overall, the ecological risks posed by PAEs in the aquatic environment were within acceptable limits, especially in terms of fish consumption.
