Effects of different resource-sharing strategies in cloud manufacturing: a Stackelberg game-based approach

Summary: This study investigates three resource-sharing strategies in cloud manufacturing: independently, as an alliance, and by cooperating with a cloud platform operator. The results show that suppliers achieving a lower system profit when sharing as an alliance, which is strongly opposed by the cloud platform operator. Low-cost suppliers have significant advantages when considering different marginal costs.

Digital Twin Enhanced Dynamic Job-Shop Scheduling

Wire-Electrochemical Discharge Machining of SiC Reinforced Z-Pinned Polymer Matrix Composite Using Grey Relational Analysis

Summary: SiC reinforced z-pinned composites are advantageous in aerospace and defense applications due to their superior mechanical properties, but are difficult to machine with conventional processes. In this study, wire electrochemical discharge machining (WECDM) was used to micro-slice the composites, resulting in improved output quality characteristics. The experiments showed that the grey relational analysis (GRA) method enhanced the machined samples' surface quality, reducing micro-cracks and achieving uniform cutting.
