EDOT-based conjugated polymers accessed via C-H direct arylation for efficient photocatalytic hydrogen production

This research demonstrates that EDOT is a promising electron-rich building block for facile integration into CP-based photocatalysts.

Interior and Surface Synergistic Modifications Modulate the SnNb2O6/Ni-Doped ZnIn2S4 S-Scheme Heterojunction for Efficient Photocatalytic H2 Evolution

Summary: Synergistic modifications of the interior and surface can enhance the photocatalytic activity at the atomic level. A new 2D/2D SnNb2O6/Ni-doped ZnIn2S4 (SNO/Ni-ZIS) S-scheme heterojunction was synthesized and showed significantly improved PHE activity under visible light. Theoretical calculations revealed that the S-scheme heterojunction promotes the desorption of H atoms for rapid H2 evolution. This work provides advanced insight for developing high-performance S-scheme systems.

Stable and highly conductive nanofluids can be produced through one-step or two-step production methods, but both methods face the problem of nanoparticle agglomeration.
