Influence of triaxial deformation on wobbling motion in even-even nuclei

Summary: This paper discusses the influence of triaxial deformation gamma on the purely collective form of wobbling motion in even-even nuclei based on the triaxial rotor model. The study shows that the harmonic approximation works well when gamma = 30 degrees, but deteriorates as gamma deviates from this value. Recent data from a Coulomb excitation experiment for Ru-110 are analyzed and suggested as the bandhead of the wobbling bands, revealing two types of angular momentum geometries for wobbling motion from different y values in azimuthal plots.

From chiral vibration to tilted-axis wobbling within broken chiral symmetry

Summary: The study investigates the effect of non-axial rigid alignment of quasiparticle spins on the behavior of chiral partner bands using a semiclassical treatment. Distinct dynamical characteristics are identified in specific angular momentum ranges and tilting angles. It is observed that the high spin static chirality regime transforms into a wobbling tilted axis rotation under certain conditions.
