The Ds+→π+KS0KS0 reaction and the I=1 partner of the f0(1710) state

L. R. Dai et al.

Summary: In this study, the decay modes of the D-s(+) decay producing a pion and two vector mesons were identified. Two resonances associated with the f(0)(1710) and a(0)(1710) were generated through posterior vector-vector interaction and decayed into the observed K+K- or (KSKS0)-K-0 pair. The study also determined parameters consistent with experimental results and predicted the branching ratio of the a(0)(1710) contribution to the D-s(+)->pi(K+KS0)-K-0 reaction.

Newly observed a0(1817) as the scaling point of constructing the scalar meson spectroscopy

Dan Guo et al.

Summary: Stimulated by the newly observed a(0)(1817) by the BESIII Collaboration, this study proposes a scheme for constructing the scalar meson family based on observed scalar states. Two Regge trajectories are identified and the third radial excitation is predicted. The study has important implications for understanding the properties of scalar mesons.

Theoretical study of the process Ds+ → π+ KS0KS0 and the isovector partner of f0(1710)

Xin Zhu et al.

Summary: This study presents a theoretical analysis of a(0)(1710), which is the isovector partner of f(0)(1710), in the process D-s(+) pi(+)-+(KSKS0)-K-0. The authors investigate the weak interaction part through the charm quark decay process and the hadronization part through different mechanisms. The results provide valuable insights into the nature of scalar f(0)(1710) and its isovector partner a(0)(1710).

Two dynamical generated a0 resonances by interactions between vector mesons

Zheng-Li Wang et al.

Summary: In this study, dynamically generated a(0) resonances are investigated using a coupled-channel approach, with interactions between vector mesons and their coupling to pseudoscalar meson channels. The results reveal the existence of a(0)(1710) as a coupled-channel dynamically generated state near the K*(K) over bar* threshold, as well as the possibility of a(0)(1450) being dynamically generated by rho omega interactions involving pi and eta exchange.

Study of the decay Ds+→ KS0KS0π+ and observation of an isovector partner to f0 (1710)

M. Ablikim et al.

Summary: In this study, an amplitude analysis of the decay D-s(+) -> (KSKS0)-K-0 pi(+) is performed using e(+)e(-) annihilation data collected with the BESIII detector. An enhancement near 1.7 GeV/c(2) is observed in the K(S)(0)K(S)(0) mass spectrum, suggesting the existence of an isospin one partner of the f(0)(1710). The branching fraction of the decay D-s(+) -> (KSKS0)-K-0 pi(+) is determined to be B(D-s(+) -> (KSKS0)-K-0 pi(+)) = (0.68 +/- 0.04(stat) +/- 0.01(syst))%.

Study of the Ds+ → a0(980) ρ and a0(980)ω decays

Yao Yu et al.

Summary: The study focused on different decay modes of D-s(+) and made predictions on specific rescattering phenomena, comparing the results with observational data. The calculations showed that some predicted decay modes agreed with the data, while others require further examination to understand discrepancy.

The a0(980) and f0(980) in the process Ds+ → K+K-π+

Jun-Ya Wang et al.

Summary: In this study, the process D-s(+) -> K+ K-pi(+) was investigated, considering the contributions from the S-wave pseudoscalar-pseudoscalar interaction within the chiral unitary approach and the intermediate phi resonance. The dynamically generated f(0)(980) state was found to give the dominant contribution near the K+ K- threshold in the invariant mass distribution of the decay. Our results suggest that the lineshape adopted for the resonances a(0)(980) and f(0)(980) by BESIII and BABAR may not be suitable for fitting data close to the K+ K- threshold.

Scalar isoscalar mesons and the scalar glueball from radiative J/ψ decays

A. V. Sarantsev et al.

Summary: A coupled-channel analysis of BESIII data on radiative J/psi decays into pi pi, K (K) over bar, eta eta and omega phi was performed to determine the ten isoscalar scalar mesons. The masses, widths, and decay modes of these mesons were determined and interpreted as mainly SU(3)-singlet and mainly octet states. Octet isoscalar scalar states were observed with significant yields only in the 1500-2100MeV mass region.

Scalar mesons and the fragmented glueball

Eberhard Klempt

Summary: The center-of-gravity rule is tested for heavy and light-quark mesons, showing excellent validation in the heavy-meson sector and proposing potential spin-partner relationships among light-quark mesons. The study also discusses mixing angles, SU(3) representations, and suggests nonet of radial excitations, while rejecting the scalar glueball as an additional intruder.

Amplitude analysis and branching-fraction measurement of Ds+ → KS0π+π0

M. Ablikim et al.

Summary: By using 6.32 fb(-1) of data collected with the BESIII detector, an amplitude analysis of the decay D-s(+) -> K-S(0) pi(+)pi(0) was performed to determine relative fractions and phase differences of different intermediate processes. The absolute branching fraction was measured to be B(D-s(+) -> K-S(0) pi(+) pi(0)) = (5.43 +/- 0.30(stat) +/- 0.15(syst)) x 10(-3) based on the detection efficiency derived from the analysis results.
