Levenberg-Marquardt method with general convex penalty for nonlinear inverse problems

Zhenwu Fu et al.

Summary: This paper introduces a Levenberg-Marquardt method for solving nonlinear inverse problems in Hilbert spaces, using general convex penalty terms to reconstruct nonsmooth solutions. The regularization parameter is chosen by solving an equation based on the residual in each iteration, and the iteration is terminated using the discrepancy principle with convergence results provided. Numerical simulations are also conducted to evaluate the method's performance.

Modeling of hysteresis loops using rational and power functions

Mehran Mirzaei et al.

Summary: This paper introduces a new simple method for modeling the hysteresis loops of soft magnetic materials using combined rational and power functions, with three different approaches for analytical modeling. The approaches include estimating upper and lower curves separately, calculating hysteresis loops using DC magnetization curve and applying a phase shift, and fitting the model to the mean curve before calculating the phase shift. The proposed method is also applied to model hysteresis loops of high magnetic permeability magnetic material and grain-oriented steel for generalization.
