Giant topological Hall effect around room temperature in noncollinear ferromagnet NdMn2Ge2 single crystal

Xianming Zheng et al.

Summary: This study reports the observation of a giant topological Hall effect in NdMn2Ge2 single crystal, which is attributed to the complex magnetic structure and noncollinear spin configuration of the compound. The results indicate that this material could be a promising candidate for spintronic applications at room temperature.

Superspin glass behavior and giant exchange bias effect in hexagonal (Mn0.7Cu0.3)66Ga34 ferrimagnet

Hai Zeng et al.

Summary: A hexagonal Ni2In-type single phase is obtained in the (Mn0.2Cu0.3)(66)Ga-34 sample, where superspin glass behavior and exchange bias effect are investigated. Various measurements confirm the existence of superspin glass behavior in the sample at low temperatures. Additionally, a giant exchange bias field is achieved, and the origin of this effect is discussed.

Emergence of the topological Hall effect in a tetragonal compensated ferrimagnet Mn2.3Pd0.7Ga

Won-Young Choi et al.

Summary: Researchers have proposed a new Heusler compound, Mn3Ga, to overcome challenges in practical applications of topological spin textures based on experimental results on a new class of skyrmion materials. The compound demonstrates a chiral noncollinear spin texture under specific conditions, indicating potential for use in new devices.

Field-induced topological Hall effect and double-fan spin structure with a c-axis component in the metallic kagome antiferromagnetic compound YMn6Sn6

Qi Wang et al.

Summary: Geometric frustration in the kagome lattice provides a great platform for flat electronic bands, nontrivial topological properties, and novel magnetism. The study shows the occurrence of topological Hall effect in centrosymmetric YMn6Sn6, which is attributed to an in-plane field-induced double-fan spin structure rather than a magnetic skyrmion lattice. This research offers insights into the impact of field-induced unique magnetic structures on magnetoelectric response in topological kagome metals.
