partial derivative-Dressing method for a generalized Hirota equation

Yehui Huang et al.

Summary: This paper studies a 2 x 2 matrix partial derivative problem and obtains the Lax pair by constructing a spectral transformation matrix. The Hirota equation with self-consistent sources is derived by considering the nonanalytic part of the dispersion relation. Furthermore, explicit solutions including N-soliton solutions are computed by the partial derivative-dressing method, and N-soliton solutions of the Hirota equation with self-consistent sources are obtained using the properties of the Cauchy matrix. The dynamic behavior of soliton solutions is analyzed.

Dbar-approach to coupled nonlocal NLS equation and general nonlocal reduction

Xueru Wang et al.

Summary: The coupled nonlocal nonlinear Schrodinger equation was studied using the 2x2 Dbar problem, introducing two spectral transform matrices to define associated Dbar problems. Relationships between the coupled nonlocal NLS potential and the Dbar problem solution were constructed, and the spatial transform method was extended to derive the coupled nonlocal NLS equation and its conservation laws. The general nonlocal reduction of the coupled nonlocal NLS equation to the nonlocal NLS equation was discussed in detail, with explicit solutions derived.

Dbar-dressing method for the Gerdjikov-Ivanov equation with nonzero boundary conditions

Jinghua Luo et al.

Summary: The Dbar-dressing method is applied to study a Gerdjikov-Ivanov equation with nonzero boundary at infinity. Spatial and time spectral problems associated with the GI equation are derived using an asymptotic expansion method. Soliton solutions of the GI equation are constructed based on the Dbar equation through a special spectral transformation matrix, leading to explicit one- and two-soliton solutions.

Riemann-Hilbert approach for a Schrodinger-type equation with nonzero boundary conditions

Bo Zhang et al.

Summary: This paper investigates a nonlinear Schrodinger-type equation with nonzero boundary conditions at infinity. It introduces a two-sheeted Riemann surface to map the spectral parameter, and derives N-soliton solutions through a matrix RH problem. Various one-soliton and two-soliton solutions are presented based on different distributions of spectral parameters, with further analysis of their dynamical features.

Riemann-Hilbert approach to the modified nonlinear Schrodinger equation with non-vanishing asymptotic boundary conditions

Yiling Yang et al.

Summary: The paper presents the inverse scattering transform for the modified nonlinear Schrodinger equation and obtains N-soliton solutions through a Riemann-Hilbert problem. The dynamic features of the solutions and the impact of spectrum distribution and non-vanishing boundary conditions on soliton solutions are analyzed. Furthermore, differences between the results with non-vanishing boundaries and those on zero boundary conditions are discussed.

Inverse Scattering Transformation for the Fokas-Lenells Equation with Nonzero Boundary Conditions

Yi Zhao et al.

Summary: This article focuses on the inverse scattering transformation for the Fokas-Lenells (FL) equation with nonzero boundary conditions via the Riemann-Hilbert (RH) approach. Based on the Lax pair of the FL equation, the analyticity, symmetry and asymptotic behavior of the Jost solutions and scattering matrix are discussed in detail. A reconstruction formula between the solution of the FL equation and the Riemann-Hilbert problem is obtained from a generalized RH problem, leading to the N-soliton solutions of the FL equation.
