Stabilization of inertial Cohen-Grossberg neural networks with generalized delays: A direct analysis approach

Siyu Han et al.

Summary: This paper addresses the stabilization problem of Cohen-Grossberg type inertial neural networks with generalized delays using a direct analysis approach. A generalized form of time delays is developed to unify different types of delays. The proposed method involves constructing Lyapunov functionals and designing control schemes to achieve stabilization of the second-order Cohen-Grossberg INNs, with criteria that are simpler and more easily verified in applications.

Multistability of delayed fractional-order competitive neural networks

Fanghai Zhang et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the multistability of fractional-order competitive neural networks with time-varying delays. The equilibrium points of the networks are given by division of state space, and several sufficient conditions and criteria are proposed to ascertain the multiple stability of the networks. Additionally, the attraction basins of the stable equilibrium points are estimated, showing that they can be larger than the divided subsets.

Nonseparation Method-Based Finite/Fixed-Time Synchronization of Fully Complex-Valued Discontinuous Neural Networks

Liang Feng et al.

Summary: This article addresses the synchronization issue in finite and fixed time for fully complex-variable delayed neural networks with discontinuous activations and time-varying delays. By introducing a complex-valued sign function and developing two discontinuous control strategies, synchronization criteria and estimates of settling time are derived using nonsmooth analysis and novel inequality techniques in the complex field. The unified control strategy designed under a new norm framework reveals that a parameter value in the controller determines whether the networks synchronize in finite or fixed time, supported by numerical results for an example provided in the article.
