The halo light-cone catalogues of ABACUSSUMMIT

Boryana Hadzhiyska et al.

Summary: The study presents a method to generate halo catalogues on the light-cone using AbacusSummit suite, with the main application being the construction of realistic mock galaxy catalogues and weak lensing maps. By associating haloes from snapshots with their positions at the time of light-cone crossing, the algorithm records information into the easily accessible AbacusSummit halo light-cone catalogues, recommended for use in a specific halo mass regime. Various visual inspections and consistency checks validate the obtained catalogues, with autocorrelation function multipoles consistent with predictions and CMB convergence maps showing agreement with theoretical predictions.

The High Latitude Spectroscopic Survey on the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope

Yun Wang et al.

Summary: This article introduces the High Latitude Spectroscopic Survey (HLSS) conducted by the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope and its implications for the study of large-scale structures and dark energy. The article presents a reference HLSS, including the scope of the survey, redshift measurements, and performance predictions, and investigates possible design deviations. This information will be valuable for decision-making regarding the final scope and design of the Roman HLSS.

The completed SDSS-IV extended Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey: N-body mock challenge for galaxy clustering measurements

Graziano Rossi et al.

Summary: This study develops a series of N-body data challenges for the final analysis of the eBOSS DR16 galaxy sample, based on high-fidelity catalogues constructed from the Outer Rim simulation. By evaluating different HOD schemes and assessing three complementary RSD models, the study finds consistent results with comparable systematic errors on parameters and growth of structure. The robustness of the models and pipelines used for BAO and clustering analysis is validated, with the techniques able to recover key parameters within small margins.

The completed SDSS-IV extended Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey: N-body mock challenge for the eBOSS emission line galaxy sample

Shadab Alam et al.

Summary: The study focuses on the clustering of galaxies in redshift space, using mock catalogues with various effects to analyze two RSD models providing unbiased measurements. Additionally, the estimated theoretical systematic error is found to be negligible compared to the statistical error of the sample.

Nina A. Maksimova et al.

Summary: The ABACUSSUMMIT cosmological N-body simulation suite is released publicly, produced using the ABACUS N-body code on the Summit supercomputer. It achieves a high accuracy of O(10(-5)) and high speeds, with a total of 60 trillion particles and coverage for 97 cosmological models across 33 epochs.

Completed SDSS-IV extended Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey: Cosmological implications from two decades of spectroscopic surveys at the Apache Point Observatory

Shadab Alam et al.

Summary: Based on the final measurements of clustering using galaxies, quasars, and Ly alpha forests from the SDSS lineage, this study provides comprehensive cosmological implications. The BAO data alone can rule out dark-energy-free models, and when combined with other measurements, significant improvements are made on constraining cosmological parameters within the ΛCDM model. The results indicate that various parameter extensions remain consistent with a ΛCDM model in a combined analysis, showing precision changes of less than 0.6% in key parameters.
