Determination of the residue behavior of isocycloseram in Brassica oleracea and soil using the QuEChERS method coupled with HPLC

Juan Luo et al.

Summary: A method for determining residues of isocycloseram in cabbage and soil was established, with average recoveries of 91.81-109.95% in cabbage and 89.89-104.08% in soil at an addition level of 0.01-1.0 mg/kg. Isocycloseram dissipated faster in cabbage matrix after the application of 10% isocycloseram DC, and residues on cabbage leaves could be removed through simple cleaning methods, particularly by soaking in 2% citric acid.

Determination of multiclass herbicides in sediments and aquatic products using QuECHERS combined with ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (UHPLC-MS/MS) and its application to risk assessment of rice-fish co-culture system in China

Lichun Li et al.

Summary: A sensitive method for determining nine herbicides in sediments and aquatic products was developed using QuEChERS and UHPLC-MS/MS, with satisfactory recoveries and linear calibration curves. While the residues of herbicides in paddy fish did not harm humans in the rice-fish co-culture system, there were ecological risks to fish, daphnia, and algae in the system.

Levels of residues and dietary risk assessment of the fungicides myclobutanil, penconazole, tebuconazole, and triadimenol in squash

Osama I. Abdallah et al.

Summary: Triazole fungicides may pose potential health risks to humans. A method for simultaneous determination of multiple pesticides in squash was validated, with risk assessment indicating that consumption of squash treated with recommended doses does not pose significant health risks.

Development of a modified quick, easy, cheap, effective, rugged, and safe method based on melamine sponge for multi-residue analysis of veterinary drugs in milks by ultra-performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry

Baocheng Ji et al.

Summary: This study developed a modified QuEChERS method based on melamine sponge for rapid determination of multi-class veterinary drugs in milks. The method showed good potential in rapid determination of multiclass residues in food safety, with fast and convenient matrix purification, good linearity and recoveries, as well as relatively low LODs and LOQs.
