TNF-α Induces URG-4/URGCP Gene Expression in Hepatoma Cells through Starvation Dependent Manner

Esra Tokay et al.

Summary: Studies have shown that TNF-alpha cytokine can regulate the expression of the URG-4/URGCP gene in hepatoma cells, with differential effects in serum-starved and serum-cultured conditions. Additionally, the activation response of TNF-alpha on URG-4/URGCP was found to be mediated through JNK and PI3K pathways in serum-starved Hep3B cells.
