Summary: Oscillatory neural activity plays a key role in information processing in the brain. Multiple frequency bands of simultaneous activity and their interactions are important for high-level cognitive functions. Cross frequency coupling is crucial for visual attention and can label different submodalities of sensory information.

Summary: Due to the limitations of ad-hoc networks, it is difficult to design sophisticated defence schemes with more computing capital. The inconsistency in the ad-hoc design of intrusion detection has recently received a lot of attention, with intrusion detection techniques operating in either cluster-based or host-based configurations. Host and cluster-based systems have advantages and disadvantages, such as preserving network security in case of delay in replacing a cluster head. Many detection systems in these networks use supervised learning methods, and deep learning is a popular method for its deep feature extraction and classification capability. However, it requires more research before implementation due to its limitation of supervised learning nature. To address these issues, a technique of incorporating unsupervised learning behaviors is needed. This paper proposes the methodology of Deep Embedded Median Clustering (DEMC) to address these challenges.

Summary: The research proposed a seismic design based on nonlinear vibration control, and conducted a nonlinear time-history analysis on the isolated and non-isolated models of a 15-story large chassis frame structure using SAP2000 software. The results showed that the isolated structure performed better under earthquake actions, providing a reliable evaluation for nonlinear seismic response analysis of large complex high-rise buildings.

Summary: Textile materials have been enriched in function at the composite level with continuous developments in the textile industry. Zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO-NPs) have various characteristics such as UV filter, antifungal, high catalysis, and semiconductor/piezoelectric coupling, which are comprehensively analysed for potential applications in the textile industry. Additionally, the piezoelectric power generation characteristics of textiles based on ZnO-NP materials are discussed, showing significant semiconductor properties and current enhancement signals locally.

Summary: Non-invasive brain stimulation techniques, such as TMS and tDCS, have been widely used to study CNS pathophysiology and functional roles of specific brain structures. These techniques can modulate cortical excitability and induce short-term cortical plasticity, offering promising tools for investigating human brain functions and neurorehabilitation protocols.
