A composite coating containing graphene was prepared on the AA1060 alloy surface using a combination of micro-arc oxidation and electrophoretic deposition treatment technology. Experimental results showed that the composite coating exhibited improved compactness and corrosion resistance.
A micro-arc oxidation coating containing graphene was prepared by using a combination of the micro-arc oxidation and electrophoretic deposition treatment technology on AA1060 alloy, the specific preparation method is as follows: firstly, the samples are treated with micro-arc oxidation technology. Secondly, graphene is deposited on pores and surfaces of the formed micro-arc oxidation coatings by electrophoretic deposition. And lastly, the samples are again treated with micro-arc oxidation technology. The combination of micro-arc oxidation and electrophoretic deposition treatment technology can obtain a composite coating on AA1060 alloy surface. Experimental results show that the composite coating has better compactness and corrosion resistance.
