Validation of Quick Polar Pesticides (QuPPe) Method for Determination of Eight Polar Pesticides in Cherries by LC-MS/MS

Ozgur Golge

Summary: A novel and sensitive chromatography method using modified QuPPe sample preparation was validated for determination of eight high polar pesticides in cherries. The method showed good linearity, low residuals, and average recoveries ranging from 70.2 to 105.1%. No high polar pesticides were found in 225 real samples of cherries analyzed using this method.

Quantification of pesticide residues in gherkins by liquid and gas chromatography coupled to tandem mass spectrometry

Ozgur Golge et al.

Summary: The study assessed the occurrence and quantification of pesticides in gherkins cultivated in Turkey, finding that a proportion of samples contained pesticide residues, some of which were not approved in the EU. Multiple pesticide residues were detected in some samples, with some exceeding the maximum residue levels.

Determination of eighty-two pesticides and application to screening pesticides in cannabis growing facilities

Caley B. Craven et al.

Summary: This study employs wipe sampling, liquid chromatography separation, and tandem mass spectrometry to detect pesticide residues in cannabis facilities, revealing significant differences between non-certified and certified sites. The results suggest a need for routine monitoring and strict control of pesticide use in cannabis facilities due to the presence of pesticide residues on common surfaces.

A LC-MS/MS method with electrospray ionization and atmospheric pressure chemical ionization source for analysis of pesticides in hemp

Avinash Dalmia et al.

Summary: A streamlined LC-MS/MS method with dual ESI and APCI sources was developed for the analysis of 66 pesticides in hemp, with all pesticides showing acceptable recovery rates in the hemp matrix ranging from 80-120% with RSD less than 20%.
