Summary: Disparities in pancreatic cancer care outcomes are attributed to both patient and healthcare system factors, highlighting the need for targeted measures to address gaps in research, access, patient needs, hospital factors, and systemic models. Efforts should be made to understand the causes of inequitable outcomes and develop strategies to minimize disparities in pancreatic cancer care.

The growth rate was higher among Black, Hispanic, and dually enrolled beneficiaries compared to White and nondual beneficiaries. The implications of this increased heterogeneity in the program for enrollee outcomes remain uncertain.
