Capillary Electrophoresis Coupled to Electrospray Ionization Tandem Mass Spectrometry for Ultra-Sensitive Proteomic Analysis of Limited Samples

Summary: We developed an ultra-sensitive CE-MS/MS method for bottom-up proteomics analysis of limited samples, which demonstrated higher protein and peptide identifications compared to current state-of-the-art methods. The method is capable of analyzing samples down to sub-nanogram levels of total protein and has significant potential applications in the analysis of limited biological samples.
