Uniform and stable plasma reactivity: Effects of nanosecond pulses and oxygen addition in atmospheric-pressure dielectric barrier discharges

Summary: The uniformity and reactivity of DBDs can be improved by using customized nanosecond pulse excitation and precise addition of oxygen to the Ar flow. Increasing gap voltage U-g facilitates electron avalanches and improves discharge uniformity, while a small amount of added oxygen favors electron production.
