Understanding of chiral site-dependent enantioselective identification on a plasmon-free semiconductor based SERS substrate

Jing Xu et al.

Summary: A plasmon-free semiconductive surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) substrate is proposed for sensitive chiral recognition and discrimination of enantiomers. Experimental and simulation results indicate that satisfactory enantioselective identification not only requires a homochiral surface, but also largely depends on the chiral center environment differences.

A Facile Strategy for the Ion Current and Fluorescence Dual-Lock in Detection: Naphthalic Anhydride Azide (NAA)-Modified Biomimetic Nanochannel Sensor towards H2S

I Wu et al.

Summary: Inspired by biological channels, an artificial nanochannel system incorporating both current signal and fluorescence was developed in this work. By conjugating fluorescent probes to the nanochannel surface and utilizing specific reduction reactions, a synchronized change in fluorescence and nanochannel surface charge was established, leading to significant changes in both ion current and fluorescence intensity. This approach provided a valid confirmation of the response process and protected detection accuracy, potentially opening up new possibilities for more sophisticated dual-index nanochannel systems.
