Low-pressure highly permeable polyester loose nanofiltration membranes tailored by natural carbohydrates for effective dye/salt fractionation

Pengrui Jin et al.

Summary: This study focused on the fabrication of loose nanofiltration (LNF) membranes using green materials with high water permeability for dye and salt recovery in textile wastewater treatment. The membranes showed excellent water permeability, rejection of dyes, transmission of salts, anti-fouling performance, and long-term stability. The findings suggest a promising new strategy for the preparation of next-generation LNF membranes.
