Summary: The study investigates the synthesis of Ni-doped CuO nanoparticles using sol-gel method, with XRD and Raman spectroscopy confirming the crystalline structure and vibrational properties. The results indicate a decrease in band gap and weak ferromagnetism with increasing dopant concentration in the CuO matrix. The weak induced magnetization is attributed to inter-grain magnetic interactions in the nanoparticles induced by the exchange interaction between Ni ions and carriers in the lattice.
