Evaluation of Necessity of Cholesterol Supplementation in Diets of Two Marine Teleosts, Turbot (Scophthalmus maximus) and Tiger Puffer (Takifugu rubripes): Effects on Growth and Lipid Metabolism

Xiaoxue Meng et al.

Summary: This study aimed to reevaluate the necessity of cholesterol supplementation in the diets of turbot and tiger puffer. The results showed that dietary cholesterol supplementation had no significant effect on the growth of the two fish species, but significantly regulated their lipid metabolism.
