Theoretical single scan staircase voltammograms of homogeneous electrocatalytic reactions on the rotating disk electrode were calculated by digital simulation. A simple relationship between steady state current and dimensionless kinetic parameter was discovered, and the influence of the backward component of chemical reaction was demonstrated.
