A reduced graphene oxide-β-cyclodextrin nanocomposite-based electrode for electrochemical detection of curcumin

Summary: Curcumin is a polyphenolic compound with anti-oxidative and anti-cancer properties, which is crucial in cancer therapy. An electrochemical sensor based on beta-cyclodextrin-reduced graphene oxide nanocomposite was fabricated for measuring curcumin concentration, showing good electrochemical properties and sensitivity. The sensor exhibited selectivity in detecting curcumin in the presence of other electroactive species, with a linear response over a specific range and a low detection limit.
