Design of Single Atom Catalysts

Zuran Yu et al.

Summary: This review highlights the crucial role of computational modeling based on density functional theory in studying the catalytic mechanism of single-atom catalysts. It also introduces computational methods for analyzing the electronic structures and catalytic performance of SACs, as well as the use of descriptors in their computational design. Future advances in computational methods are expected to help identify highly effective SACs for various reactions.
