We demonstrate that the principle of "vertical bar Delta mu vertical bar big" holds at finite temperatures. We also introduce conditions suggesting the validity of this reactivity rule when involved chemical reactions exhibit different signs in their chemical potential variations.
We show that the vertical bar Delta mu vertical bar big is good principle holds at temperatures above absolute zero (the so-called finite- T regime). We also provide the first conditions hinting at the validity of this reactivity rule in cases where the chemical reactions involved have different signs in their chemical potential variations.
