Magneto-Optical Characterization of Trions in Symmetric InP-Based Quantum Dots for Quantum Communication Applications

Wojciech. Rudno-Rudzinski et al.

Summary: The magneto-optical parameters of trions in novel large and symmetric InP-based quantum dots emitting in the third telecom window were measured using external magnetic fields in Voigt and Faraday configurations. The identified diamagnetic coefficients and shifts were related to dot size anisotropy. The trion g-factors were found to be relatively small, showing potential for electrical tuning of the g-factor sign for single spin control in qubit applications.
