Dynamic Event-Triggered Consensus of General Linear Multi-Agent Systems With Adaptive Strategy

Kaien Liu et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the consensus problem of multi-agent systems (MASs) with general linear dynamics. An adaptive event-triggered strategy is applied to reduce communication frequency and avoid dependence on global information. A dynamic event-triggered strategy, which provides more flexibility in determining the event-trigger threshold, is proposed. The event-trigger condition is designed based on continuous relative measurement and improved to only utilize event-triggered information. Sufficient criteria are derived to guarantee consensus, and it is proven that the designed event-trigger conditions can exclude Zeno behavior. Numerical simulations are conducted to validate the effectiveness of the obtained results.

Adaptive Fuzzy Leader-Follower Synchronization of Constrained Heterogeneous Multiagent Systems

Yongliang Yang et al.

Summary: This article investigates the distributed adaptive neuro-fuzzy output feedback control protocol design for the output synchronization problem in heterogeneous multiagent systems with nonlinear strict-feedback agent dynamics. It proposes a distributed high-gain observer to estimate the unmeasured agent state and relax the Lipschitz continuity requirement. An asymmetric barrier Lyapunov function is presented to handle transient and steady-state constraints on the output synchronization error. The use of dynamic surface control technique, fuzzy logic system, and a distributed auxiliary dynamical system contributes to the overall control performance.

Event-Triggered Output Feedback Control of Switched Nonlinear Systems With Input Saturation

Hanfeng Li et al.

Summary: This article addresses the event-triggered output feedback control problem for switched nonlinear strict-feedback systems under asymmetric input saturation, proposing a new design procedure based on a reduced-order observer to construct an output feedback controller. By using hyperbolic tangent function and indicator function, the scheme ensures global boundedness of signals and convergence of output to a small region around the origin, without employing the conventional backstepping method. The effectiveness of the proposed control scheme is demonstrated using a continuous stirred tank reactor.
