Investigation of the Parameter-Dependence of Topology-Optimized Heat Sinks in Natural Convection

Summary: The study shows that, in topology optimization of natural convection heat sinks, in addition to heating power, heat source size, allowed volume, and material thermal conductivity also have significant impacts on the optimization results. Under low heating power, a tree-like heat sink is beneficial for improving heat conduction; under high heating power, a taper-like heat sink is more suitable for strong flow.
