Delirium in Patients with SARS-CoV-2 Infection: A Multicenter Study

Summary: In this study, the prevalence of delirium on admission in patients with SARS-CoV-2 infection was reported to be 14.1%, with factors such as dementia, number of chronic diseases, and chest X-ray or CT opacity being significantly associated with delirium. Patients with delirium on admission had a higher in-hospital mortality rate compared to those without delirium.

Delirium in Older Patients With COVID-19: Prevalence, Risk Factors, and Clinical Relevance
