Mean square and almost sure consensus of heterogeneous multi-agent systems with multiplicative noise

Kewei Zhang et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the consensus problem of heterogeneous multi-agent systems composed of first-order and second-order agents, considering the impact of multiplicative noise on the communication network. By structuring an appropriate Lyapunov function, sufficient conditions for consensus related to control gains, noise intensities, and network topology are obtained. The convergence rates of the consensus protocol are also derived, and numerical simulations demonstrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results.

Leader-follower time-varying output formation control of heterogeneous systems under cyber attack with active leader

Lina Xia et al.

Summary: This study addresses the time-varying output formation problem between an active leader and followers in heterogeneous multi-agent systems subject to cyber-attacks. By utilizing a resilient observer and compensation signal, the leader's state and output are estimated for the followers, allowing for the transformation of the problem to a conventional tracking problem with the help of a state-space transformation method. Through the derivation of inhomogeneous algebraic Riccati equations, the optimization of the conventional tracking problem solution is guaranteed, demonstrating the effectiveness and availability of the proposed method through simulation examples.

Event-triggered adaptive consensus for stochastic multi-agent systems with saturated input and partial state constraints

Yong Zhao et al.

Summary: This paper addresses the consensus tracking problem of stochastic multi-agent systems with output, partial state constraints, and input saturation. An event-triggered strategy and backstepping techniques are used to design a distributed controller that guarantees boundedness of system signals, accurate consensus tracking with small error, and avoids Zeno behavior.

Output consensus for switched multi-agent systems with bumpless transfer control and event-triggered communication

Yajing Ma et al.

Summary: This paper discusses output consensus for a class of switched multi-agent systems with bumpless transfer control and event-triggered communication. By constructing a dynamic compensator and designing an event-triggered rule, communication cost is reduced and output consistency is guaranteed. The effectiveness of the proposed approach is demonstrated through an example.

Mean-square consensus for heterogeneous multi-agent systems with probabilistic time delay

Fenglan Sun et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the delay-dependent consensus problem of heterogeneous multi-agent systems over directed topology, proposing new distributed control protocols based on the probability distribution of time delay. Through matrix theory, Lyapunov-Krasovskii function, and stochastic analysis, less conservative conditions for mean-square consensus are established, and larger upper bounds of time delay are obtained. Several simulations are presented to illustrate the results.

Scalable consensus filtering for uncertain systems over sensor networks with Round-Robin protocol

Fei Han et al.

Summary: This article addresses the scalable distributed H-infinity-consensus filtering problem for discrete time-varying systems over sensor networks with the Round-Robin protocol. It tackles challenges arising from network parameter uncertainties and saturated measurement outputs of sensor nodes. By proposing an H-infinity performance index and a distributed filtering algorithm, the theoretical results are demonstrated to be effective through an illustrative simulation example.

Consensus Control of Second-Order Time-Delayed Multiagent Systems in Noisy Environments Using Absolute Velocity and Relative Position Measurements

Yuanyuan Zhang et al.

Summary: This article proposes an effective consensus control protocol for second-order time-delayed multiagent systems in a noisy environment, utilizing absolute velocity and relative position measurements. The study considers both nonlinear and double-integrator cases, deriving conditions for mean-square consensus and almost-sure consensus based on Lipschitz constants, time delay, and noise intensity. It demonstrates that mean-square and almost-sure consensus can be achieved with appropriate control gains in the presence of time delay and noise intensity, as shown in numerical simulations.
