AC Transport Loss in Superconductors Carrying Harmonic Current With Different Phase Angles for Large-Scale Power Components

Summary: The study found that there is a significant variation in AC losses when superconducting tape carries harmonic currents of orders below 20th with changing phase angles. Different harmonic orders exhibit different AC loss profiles with respect to phase angles.
