Comparison of functional and maximal exercise capacity, respiratory and peripheral muscle strength, dyspnea, and fatigue in patients with heart failure with pacemakers and healthy controls: a cross-sectional study

Meral Bosnak Guclu et al.

Summary: Patients with heart failure and pacemakers exhibit impaired exercise capacity, weakened respiratory and peripheral muscles, reduced pulmonary function, increased dyspnea and fatigue perceptions compared to healthy controls. Inclusion of these patients in cardiac rehabilitation programs is necessary to improve these impairments.
