Event-Triggered Filtering for Delayed Markov Jump Nonlinear Systems with Unknown Probabilities

Huiying Chen et al.

Summary: This paper focuses on the problem of event-triggered H-infinity asynchronous filtering for Markov jump nonlinear systems with varying delay and unknown probabilities. An event-triggered scheduling scheme is adopted to decrease the transmission rate of measured outputs. The designed filter is mode dependent and asynchronous with the original system, which is represented by a hidden Markov model (HMM). Under this framework, a sufficient condition is given and the filter is further devised to ensure the resulting filtering error dynamic system is stochastically stable with a desired H-infinity disturbance attenuation performance.

Summary: This article studies the stabilization problem of discrete-time power systems subject to random abrupt changes using asynchronous control. A hidden Markov model technique is used to characterize the nonsynchronization between the control and system, and sufficient conditions are obtained by constructing mode-dependent stochastic Lyapunov function, ensuring the stochastic stability of the resulting hidden Markov jump systems and the existence of the desired control. Simulation examples show the efficiency of the designed control law.

Asynchronous H∞ controller design for neutral singular Markov jump systems under dynamic event-triggered schemes

Haotian Wang et al.

Summary: This paper addresses the design of asynchronous H-infinity controller for neutral singular Markov jump systems under a dynamic event-triggered scheme. It introduces the concept of asynchronous control and dynamic ETS to reduce unnecessary data transmissions through the network, utilizing hidden Markov model to explain asynchronization phenomenon. By establishing a criterion of stochastically admissible with H-infinity performance through a set of linear matrix inequalities, the co-design of controller gains and the dynamic ETS is proposed. A numerical example is provided to demonstrate the utility and effectiveness of the developed method.

Dynamic event-based dissipative asynchronous control for T-S fuzzy singular Markov jump LPV systems against deception attacks

Mingqi Xing et al.

Summary: This article investigates the issue of dissipative asynchronous control for continuous-time T-S fuzzy singular Markov jump linear parameter-varying systems against dual deception attacks under the dynamic event-triggered transmission protocol (DETP). A hidden Markov model is established to depict the asynchronous phenomenon, and a cooperative design technique of asynchronous controller and the weighting matrix of the DETP is proposed based on parameter-dependent linear matrix inequalities. The proposed method's feasibility is illustrated through examples of chaotic systems and electric truck-trailer systems under the DETP.

Adaptive dynamic surface full state constraints control for stochastic Markov jump systems based on event-triggered strategy

Miao He et al.

Summary: This paper presents an event-triggered adaptive dynamic surface full state constraints control method for stochastic nonlinear systems with Markov jumping parameters. By adding correction terms to compensate for measurement errors, the assumption of stochastic input-to-state stability on the stochastic systems is avoided. The designed method ensures bounded signals, satisfied state constraints, and eventual convergence of tracking errors to a compact set.
