Oriented thermal conductive and dimensionally stable phase change composite for hot-side thermal management of thermoelectric coolers

Zhaowen Huang et al.

Summary: A novel high-performance phase change composite (PCC) has been developed with anisotropic high heat conduction ability and dimensionally stable properties for the hot-side thermal management of thermoelectric coolers. The composite demonstrates high thermal conductivity and minimal size increment with temperature changes, showing potential for application in the field of thermoelectrics. The composite integrated-system also shows significantly improved performance compared to systems with bare substrates, indicating promising prospects for PCCs in the thermoelectric field.
