Summary: Bimetallic metal-organic frameworks (MOF) have gained attention for their synergic effect and enhanced properties compared to their parent structures. This study reports the synthesis of bimetallic Zn/Co-ZIF and its monometallic counterparts, ZIF-8 and ZIF-67, with a facile and low-cost method. Zn/Co-ZIF showed higher pore volume, BET surface area, and a slightly higher Zn-rich external surface.
