Postoperative Quality Assessment Score Can Select Patients with High Risk for Locoregional Recurrence in Colon Cancer

Cristian Livadaru et al.

Summary: This study found that monitoring the arterial stump length (ASL) can predict the risk of locoregional recurrence (LRR) in colon cancer surgery. LRR-free survival significantly increased when complete mesocolic excision (CME) was performed. A prediction score was generated to stratify patients at high risk for LRR.
