Highly efficient catalytic production of oximes from ketones using in situ-generated H2O2

Richard J. Lewis et al.

Summary: By using supported gold-palladium alloyed nanoparticles and a titanium silicate-1 catalyst, H2O2 can be generated in situ as needed, achieving high selectivity in the production of cyclohexanone oxime. This approach eliminates the need for transporting and storing highly concentrated, stabilized H2O2, leading to potential environmental and economic savings, as well as process intensification.

Bleaching flax roving with poly(acrylic acid) magnesium salt as oxygen bleaching stabilizer for hydrogen peroxide

Jie Liu et al.

Summary: A new type of synthesized non-silicon oxygen bleaching stabilizer Poly(acrylic acid) magnesium was studied for the alkali-oxygen one-bath scouring and bleaching process of flax roving, showing improved performance in terms of whiteness, breaking tenacity, capillary effect, weight loss ratio, and solution to silicon scale problem compared to traditional sodium silicate stabilizer. Orthogonal testing helped determine the optimal process parameters for the application of the stabilizer.

Probing the Effects of Acid Electrolyte Anions on Electrocatalyst Activity and Selectivity for the Oxygen Reduction Reaction

Jose A. Zamora Zeledon et al.

Summary: The study found that different acid electrolyte anions have a significant impact on the ORR activity and selectivity of Ag and Pd catalyst thin films, further demonstrating that ORR performance is closely related to anion-related phenomena in the double layer.
