Oriented BN/Silicone rubber composite thermal interface materials with high out-of-plane thermal conductivity and flexibility

Qinghua Hu et al.

Summary: The study presents a method for preparing silicone rubber-based composites with high out-of-plane thermal conductivity and softness, with an out-of-plane thermal conductivity of 7.62 Wm(-1) K-1. Finite element simulation analysis indicates that the increase in thermal conductivity is attributed to the orientation of the BN flakes and the formation of the thermal network.

Simple and efficient CVD synthesis of graphitic P-doped 3D cubic ordered mesoporous carbon at low temperature with excellent supercapacitor performance

Karthikeyan Gunasekaran Govindarasu et al.

Summary: Heteroatom doping, specifically phosphorus doping, was successfully achieved in a 3D cubic ordered mesoporous carbon material (POMC) through a favorable, simple, and efficient chemical vapor deposition (CVD) method. The POMC exhibited enhanced porous structure and suitable heteroatom functionalities, resulting in improved electrochemical performance, including higher specific capacitance, good cyclic stability, and good rate capability. The POMC also showed potential for application in symmetric supercapacitors with high cycling stability, wide potential window, and relatively high energy density.
