Complete rotational assignment of the (0,0) vibrational band of the A1?-X1S+ transition of carbon monosulfide

Yuri Kuroko et al.

Summary: In this study, carbon monosulfide generated in a specific reaction was detected using laser-induced fluorescence, and its rotational structure was analyzed. The results show that the characteristics of rotational lines are influenced by the perturbation between vibrational levels.

Detection of atomic bromine (4p5 2PJ; J=1/2, 3/2) by two-photon laser-induced vacuum ultraviolet emission

Shogo Tendo et al.

Summary: This study investigated the transition and emission phenomena between states in different electronic configurations of atomic bromine, excited by ultraviolet photons. The findings differ from previous reports, as emission was not detected in certain transitions.

Nascent vibrational distributions of S2(X3Σg-) generated in the S(1D) + OCS reaction and vibrational relaxation by collisions with He and CF4

Shogo Tendo et al.

Summary: Disulfur S-2(X-3 Sigma(-)(g)) was generated by irradiating gaseous OCS with pulsed laser light at 248 nm, and the vibrational levels were detected with laser-induced fluorescence (LIF) to determine the vibrational relaxation rate coefficients. The analysis also provided insights into the relative detectabilities of adjacent vibrational levels.
