A new type of microwave dielectric ceramic based on K2O-SrO-P2O5 composition with high quality factor and low sintering temperature

Jian Bao et al.

Summary: A new type of microwave dielectric ceramics, KSrPO4, with low dielectric loss was fabricated through a traditional solid-phase method. The ceramics exhibited excellent microwave dielectric properties, suitable for use in LTCC devices. The internal parameters of KSrPO4 ceramics were calculated based on complex chemical bond theory, and their effects on properties were systematically analyzed.

Structure characteristics and microwave dielectric properties of Pr2(Zr1-xTix)3(MoO4)9 solid solution ceramic with a stable temperature coefficient

Huanrong Tian et al.

Summary: In this study, Pr-2(Zr1-xTix)(3)(MoO4)(9) ceramics were prepared by a solid-state method, and the influence of crystal structure and bond characteristics on microwave dielectric properties was systematically investigated. The results showed that the increase of Ti4+ content led to a reduction in lattice volume and improved microwave dielectric properties. Therefore, optimizing the Ti4+ content and controlling bond characteristics can enhance the microwave dielectric performance of the ceramics.

Structure instability and high microwave dielectric permittivity of nonstoichiometric (Sr0.4Ce0.4)1-xNdxTi0.8Mg0.2O3 system for wireless communication

Burhan Ullah et al.

Summary: Non-stoichiometric (Sr0.4Ce0.4)(1-x)NdxTi0.8Mg0.2O3 ceramics were successfully synthesized using a solid-state technique, with observed structural phase transitions at different chemical compositions. The microwave dielectric properties were found to be closely related to factors such as structural phase transitions and packing fraction, with composition x = 0.4 displaying key microwave dielectric characteristics.

Low-temperature sintering LiF-doped Li4Mg3[Ti0.6(Mg1/3Nb2/3)0.4]2O9 microwave dielectric ceramics for LTCC applications

Bingjing Tao et al.

Summary: The addition of LiF sintering additive reduced the densification temperature of LMT0.6 (MN)(0.4)O ceramics and resulted in dense and homogeneous microstructures at 950°C. The LMT0.6 (MN)(0.4)O ceramics doped with 4wt% LiF exhibited optimized microwave dielectric properties, making it a suitable material for low temperature co-fired ceramics applications.

Structure, chemical bond and microwave dielectric characteristics of novel Li3Mg4NbO8 ceramics

Guoguang Yao et al.

Summary: A novel Li3Mg4NbO8 compound with an orthorhombic crystal structure resembling Li3Mg2NbO6 was fabricated through solid-state reaction. The microwave dielectric properties of Li3Mg4NbO8 ceramics were found to be strongly influenced by density and ionic polarization. Ceramics sintered at 1150°C showed excellent microwave dielectric performance with ε(r) = 13.8 +/- 0.14, Q x f = 103 400 +/- 3500 GHz (at 9.6 GHz), and Tau(f) = -36.0 +/- 1 ppm/°C. Bond characteristics were also calculated for a better understanding of the structure-property correlation for Li3Mg4NbO8 ceramics.

Effects of (Mg1/3Sb2/3)4+ substitution on the structure and microwave dielectric properties of Ce2Zr3(MoO4)9 ceramics

Xu Zhou et al.

Summary: Ce-2[Zr1-x(Mg1/3Sb2/3)x](3)(MoO4)(9) ceramics were prepared by the traditional solid-state method, and a single phase was obtained at sintering temperatures ranging from 700 to 850 degrees C. The crystal structure refinement was investigated using Rietveld refinement method, and the dielectric properties of Ce-2[Zr-0.94(Mg1/3Sb2/3)(0.06)](3)(MoO4)(9) ceramics were found to be excellent. The correlations between chemical bond parameters and microwave dielectric properties were analyzed using P-V-L theory.
