Tantalum-containing mesoporous bioactive glass powder for hemostasis

Summary: The study found that the addition of 5mol% of Ta optimized the hemostatic properties of mesoporous bioactive glasses. Ta-MBGs with negative zeta potential enhanced blood coagulation and did not cause significant lysis of red blood cells.
