Fabrication of lignin-based biochar containing multi-metal ferrite and efficient removal for oxytetracycline hydrochloride

The study provided important insights into the potential of FeNiZn-LBC for efficient removal of OTC in future applications.

The presence of pyrrolic N, thiophene S, and carbon skeleton played crucial roles in the degradation process, reducing the activation energy of the reaction. Additionally, the catalytic mechanism was elucidated through radical and nonradical pathways, highlighting the importance of O2(center dot-) as the primary reactive species.

Performance and mechanism of sycamore flock based biochar in removing oxytetracycline hydrochloride
