Asymptotical Neuro-Adaptive Consensus of Multi-Agent Systems With a High Dimensional Leader and Directed Switching Topology

Peijun Wang et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the asymptotical consensus problem for multi-agent systems (MASs) with unknown nonlinear dynamics under directed switching topology using a neural network (NN) adaptive control approach. It designs an observer for each follower to reconstruct the states of the leader, and proposes a discontinuous consensus controller and an NN adaptive law based on the idea of discontinuous control. The paper proves theoretically that asymptotical neuroadaptive consensus can be achieved in the considered MAS if the average dwell time (ADT) is larger than a positive threshold.

Observer-Based Consensus Protocol for Directed Switching Networks With a Leader of Nonzero Inputs

Peijun Wang et al.

Summary: This paper addresses the consensus tracking problem for multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) linear networked systems under directed switching topologies. Fully distributed observer-based consensus protocol: Adaptive dynamic event-triggered schemes

Wenying Xu et al.

Summary: This paper solves the fully distributed and observer-based consensus control problem of multi-agent systems with general linear dynamics under event-triggered communication (ETC). Two novel event-triggered strategies named adaptive dynamic event-triggered (ADET) schemes are developed. The ADET strategies introduce online triggering parameters and dynamic thresholds with updating laws. The sufficient conditions for consensus are derived and analyzed. The results show that the proposed strategies are effective for achieving consensus in a fully distributed way, and the dynamic thresholds can effectively exclude Zeno behavior without sacrificing system performance. The efficiency of ADET strategies and the comparison between state-based and observer-based ADET control are discussed to enrich the distributed resources-aware control framework. A simulation example is provided to illustrate the theoretical results.

Observer-Based Fixed-Time Secure Tracking Consensus for Networked High-Order Multiagent Systems Against DoS Attacks

Haijiao Yang et al.

Summary: This article investigates the problem of secure tracking consensus of nonlinear multiagent systems against denial-of-service attacks. Two types of DoS attacks, namely connectivity-maintained attacks and connectivity-broken attacks, are considered. A novel defense strategy consisting of distributed observation and decentralized control is proposed to mitigate the adverse effects caused by these attacks. The effectiveness of the proposed strategy is verified through stability analysis and simulation examples.

A self-triggered scheme for cyber-physical systems under denial-of-service attacks

Qing Geng et al.

Summary: This paper investigates a security issue in the stability analysis problem for cyber-physical systems (CPSs) and proposes a stability guaranteed self-triggered scheme to actively defend DoS attacks and reduce unnecessary data communications in delta domain. The scheme includes a predictive agent to ensure CPS stability and confirms transmit instant based on packets dropout and time-varying delays. Furthermore, a sufficient condition in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) is derived for stability under DoS attacks, with numerical simulations validating its effectiveness.

Summary: This paper investigates the leader-follower consensus problem in multi-agent systems subject to external disturbances. Disturbance observers are developed to estimate the nonlinear disturbances, and distributed consensus protocols are proposed to achieve zero tracking errors and reject nonlinear disturbances. The results are demonstrated to be effective through numerical examples.
