Improved NH3-SCR deNOx activity and tolerance to H2O & SO2 at low temperature over the NbmCu0.1-mCe0.9Ox catalysts: Role of acidity by niobium doping

Zhiping Zhang et al.

Summary: A series of NbmCu0.1-mCe0.9Ox catalysts were synthesized using the citric acid method, and the effect of niobium doping on the catalysts was investigated through various characterization techniques. The results showed that the introduction of niobium enhanced the acidity of the catalysts, leading to superior deNOx performance at low temperatures. Additionally, in situ DRIFTS results were utilized to study the reaction process in detail.

Effects of the morphology and crystal-plane of TiO2 on NH3-SCR performance and K tolerance of V2O5-WO3/TiO2 catalyst

Jun Cao et al.

Summary: TiO2 nano-rods have a larger BET surface area compared to nano-octahedrons and nano-truncated octahedrons, facilitating the dispersion of active species and enhancing surface acidity and redox ability. V2O5-WO3/TiO2-NRs catalyst exhibits a stronger interaction between active species and support, leading to increased chemisorbed oxygen ratio and improved performance in NH3-SCR reaction under both Langmuir-Hinshelwood and Eley-Rideal mechanisms.

Effects of montmorillonite and anatase TiO2 support on CeO2 catalysts during NH3-SCR reaction

Zhiheng Wang et al.

Summary: A novel hybrid catalyst (xCe-Ti/Mt) with excellent catalytic activity for NH3-SCR reaction was prepared, and characterization results showed that the integration of montmorillonite and anatase TiO2 significantly enhanced the catalyst's surface acidity and redox properties, leading to improved catalytic performance. The impact of Ce concentration on the NH3-SCR reaction was also explored, with the 6Ce-Ti/Mt catalyst exhibiting the highest activity among the samples.
