Classical Lagrangians for the nonminimal spin-nondegenerate Standard-Model extension at higher orders in Lorentz violation

Summary: This study presents new results on classical-particle propagation under Lorentz violation, focusing on spin-nondegenerate operators provided by the fermion sector with arbitrary mass dimension. The obtained classical Lagrangians for the operators (b) over cap (mu) and (H) over cap (mu) as perturbative expansions in Lorentz violation reveal peculiar functional dependence in background fields, possibly due to the essential role of particle spin. These Lagrangians will be valuable for describing particle propagation in curved backgrounds with diffeomorphism invariance and/or explicitly violated local Lorentz symmetry.
