A novel signal amplification biosensor for detection of Cd2+ based on asymmetric PCR

Summary: A novel signal amplification biosensor based on asymmetric PCR was used to detect Cd2+. The asymmetric PCR obtained a higher level of fluorescent signal than symmetric PCR. The biosensor exhibited a low detection limit, wide linear range, and satisfactory selectivity and recovery rate.
