Buried-Gate MWCNT FET-Based Nanobiosensing Device for Real-Time Detection of CRP

Ali Firoozbakhtian et al.

Summary: This study developed a portable CNT-based nanobiosensing system for label-free, online detection of CRP. The device responded to CRP changes within 8 minutes, with a low limit of detection of 150 pM. The system exhibited linear behavior and showed good selectivity compared to other substances.

Gold nanoparticles anchored onto covalent poly deep eutectic solvent functionalized graphene: An electrochemical aptasensor for the detection of C-reactive protein

Mojtaba Mahyari et al.

Summary: An electrochemical aptasensor was designed and synthesized for the specific recognition of the CRP biomarker using a novel porous and planar structure with poly deep eutectic solvent modified graphene oxide coated by gold nanoparticles. The optimized method provided good linearity for the detection of CRP in a low concentration range, with high recoveries and low variabilities in human serum samples. Overall, the designed platform offers an efficient pathway for the sensitive detection of various biomolecules in a label-free manner by changing the corresponding particular aptamer recognition strands.

Zepto molar miRNA-21 detection in gold Nano-islands platform toward early cancer screening

Jalil Parchekani et al.

Summary: The study developed an ultrasensitive electrochemical biosensor containing gold Nano-islands structures for detecting MicroRNAs as biomarkers for early cancer diagnostic. The biosensor showed high sensitivity, selectivity, and specificity, making it promising for biomedical research and diagnosis applications. The straightforward and robust Au-NIs surface fabricated without surfactant and stabilizer additive, with high electron transfer rate ability, are attractive features of this study.

Development of a gold-nanorod-based lateral flow immunoassay for a fast and dual-modal detection of C-reactive protein in clinical plasma samples

Renzhu Pang et al.

Summary: A gold-nanorod-based lateral flow immunoassay was developed for rapid CRP detection with good specificity, high sensitivity, good linearity within the range of 50-10 000 ng mL(-1) and a low limit of detection (LOD, 1.3 ng mL(-1). This method shows great potential for being a rapid and cost-effective in vitro diagnostic kit.
