Evaluation of time-resolved whole brain flat panel detector perfusion imaging using RAPID ANGIO in patients with acute stroke: comparison with CT perfusion imaging

Christoph C. Kurmann et al.

Summary: This study evaluated the time-resolved whole brain FD-CTP imaging and its correlation with conventional CTP imaging in qualitative and quantitative perfusion parameters. The results showed that FD-CTP can accurately predict vessel occlusion and correlate with quantitative perfusion results obtained from conventional CTP imaging.

Hypoperfusion Intensity Ratio Correlates with CTA Collateral Status in Large-Vessel Occlusion Acute Ischemic Stroke

D. Lyndon et al.

Summary: The study suggests that the CTP-derived hypoperfusion intensity ratio is associated with CTA collateral status and can be used as an indicator for predicting poor collateral status. Patients with high hypoperfusion intensify ratio/poor collateral status exhibit larger infarcts, higher NIHSS scores, and larger hypoperfused volumes.

Direct to Angiography vs Repeated Imaging Approaches in Transferred Patients Undergoing Endovascular Thrombectomy

Amrou Sarraj et al.

Summary: The DTA approach may lead to faster treatment and better functional outcomes in all treatment windows and hours. Repeated imaging might be reasonable with prolonged transfer times, indicating that optimal workflow in EVT transfers could result in faster and safer reperfusion with improved outcomes.
