Nonlinear modified bias proportional navigation guidance law against maneuvering targets

Yaning Wang et al.

Summary: A modified bias proportional navigation guidance law with terminal acceleration constraint is proposed in this paper. By introducing a virtual planar coordinate system and using a modified bias term, the guidance law is able to intercept maneuvering targets in a desired attack angle.

A new reaching law for sliding mode observer of controllable excitation linear synchronous motor

Xiaolei Shi et al.

Summary: This paper introduces a new sliding mode observer with a new reaching law to observe the real-time linear speed of a controllable excitation linear synchronous motor. By optimizing the reaching law and connecting it with system states, this method effectively suppresses chattering and tracks transient processes accurately and rapidly. The stability analysis and simulation results confirm the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

Differentiator-Based Incremental Three-Dimensional Terminal Angle Guidance With Enhanced Robustness

Tuo Han et al.

Summary: This article proposes an incremental guidance law with terminal angle constraint for maneuvering targets in the 3-D space. A sliding surface is constructed to exclude the relative range and line-of-sight angles in the perturbation. Then, a benchmark guidance law is derived using nonlinear dynamic inversion based sliding mode control. To enhance system robustness, an incremental nonlinear dynamic inversion based SMC 3-D guidance law is developed. Extensive simulations and tests demonstrate the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed method.

Three-Dimensional Approach Angle Guidance Under Varying Velocity and Field-of-View Limit Without Using Line-of-Sight Rate

Tuo Han et al.

Summary: This article presents a practical 3-D guidance system designed to achieve trajectory-constrained flight with desired approach angles under limited FOV and varying velocity. By constructing reference range profiles as cubic polynomials of LOS angles and solving unknown coefficients, a semianalytical 3-D guidance solution is derived. The technique is effective and robust, validated through extensive numerical simulations and Monte Carlo tests.

Multi-UAV Trajectory Planning for Energy-Efficient Content Coverage: A Decentralized Learning-Based Approach

Chenxi Zhao et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the problem of multi-UAV trajectory planning for energy-efficient content coverage and proposes a decentralized reinforcement learning algorithm. The algorithm is proven to converge to the optimal solution with a higher rate compared to centralized methods. Simulation results show that the energy efficiency of the proposed algorithm is within 5% of the optimal solution obtained with prior information.

Sensor-Based Robust Incremental Three-Dimensional Guidance Law with Terminal Angle Constraint

Tuo Han et al.

Summary: In this work, a robust incremental 3D guidance law is proposed to address maneuvering targets with terminal angle constraints. By constructing a sliding variable and deriving two guidance laws, acceleration of LOS tracking errors convergence is achieved. Sensor-based guidance laws are utilized to reduce guidance gains for perturbation rejection, demonstrating effectiveness and robustness through numerical simulations and comparison studies.
